Been a while since I last posted some work..
Well, heres a project I did to build a curtain hanger.
I first cut a straight peice of old bar to length, and then made the ends seperatly. I could have forged them on the same length, but I prefer it this way as I can adjust the angle of the swirl easier. It allso allowed me to add the rings that hold the curtain.

Cut and ground ready for welding
I made v shape between the parts, so I could grind the rest of the weld away and have a flat finnish.
Drilling aand countersinking holes fore hanging the bracket on horizontal L shaped brass hooks
And a job finished. I use spray paint, so small items like this are ready for use next day.
