Motor specs?

I jave this motor fitted to a saw and I am trying to work out what hp it is and other missing specs from this plate.

A.ybody with betterotor know how help. I am.wanting to fit a VFD to run for a linisher.

Should be easy to run from a standard VFD.

Can be wired star (380/440) or delta (220/250). Wired delta, it will draw 3.8A under load (more when starting). A 0.75 kW (1HP) VFD such as WEG CFW300 has a continuous output rating to 4.2A and would be sufficient to run this motor. As has already been mentioned, it is a 2-pole motor, easily identified by the rated 2800 RPM at 50 Hz

This is what the calculator gave me.

I originally had the power factor as 1 which gave a higher result.

^^^ That’s giving you real power (W), but when speccing a power source you should work with apparent power (VA), which although ‘apparent’, still must be supplied. Good idea to build in some headroom, anyway.

Aslong as it is enough to run a 300mm sanding disc and 100mm linisher set up be reat. or do for now until i get a bigger motor if the project works.
