I used to get my Bike tyres fitted at bike dealerships, and Tyre fitting centres, Until one day I got a rear fitted to my old Kwaker ZR7, The guy that fitted it said he had no balancer but he would improvise.....He used two trolley jacks at full hieght with a 12mm round bar through the wheel and supported on the Jacks.........So i thought if it's that simple I'll Make one but a little bit Posher..But only!!!! just knocked this up in an hour one Quiet nightshift and I've never had a comeback yet from any of my mates ( Surprising how many you can aquire when the word gets out) The principal is The out of balance bit (The heavy bit) will settle at the bottom when it stops, Mark opposite for reference then take it to quarter past and let it settle again and see how fast it drops! then guess a weight ie: 10grams repeat and add weight where you've marked until it stops wanting to fall and stops still ( Use insulation tape to hold the weights on until your satisfied it's right)....I think thats the easiest way to explain!
