My Birds on display

cant really remember how long that one took 60-80 hours round about there. I remember that one taking ages. The more you do the quicker you get but still hard graft

The Owl was done in kinda animated form. I was watching Harry Potter with my daughter and saw that wizard fella reading to the assembly from an owl used as a book rest which opened its wings when he put a book on it. I thought it looked really evil yet amusing so I wanted to try and capture that humorous look. It seems to work cos everyone passing has a smile at it

Excellent choice of characterisation, eagle owl will always be my altime favorite.

Yes I got an offer of £1099 on the eagle with fish but turned it down. That was my first and not really that bothered about selling that one

Ye I know what you mean.. and it was lashing down that day which didnt help.
Ive got another couple of old poles for future projects. They make great mountings
