Hi, I know that there has been many posts about joining two compressors together and what not but here i'd like to know about the FAD i will get with my setup (and potential upgrades)
1) At the moment, I have a 3hp 14CFM belt driven compressor and a 1.5hp 6.5CFM direct drive compressor together. I'm not sure about the free air delivery, but as the general rule of thumb, 1hp = 3cfm FAD, afaik. So, would this mean i have a 13.5CFM FAD setup?
2) Im looking in to buying a 2.5hp 9.5cfm compressor for smaller jobs (25ltr, so compact) and i would like to add this to my two existing compressors when it is not being used on its own. Again, applying 1hp = 3CFM FAD, would this mean it has a FAD of 7.5CFM and my total system would have a FAD of 21CFM?
Thank you
