my first compressor

Picked up a secondhand clarke boxer, 3hp, 100ltr, belt drive, twin compressors.
I choose this one mainly because its quiet 94L.WA, i nearly got a jcb compressor thinking it was realy quiet at 76db.a.
76db.a is about 95LW.A.
Ill be useing the compressor mainly for a bit of blasting, got myself a machine mart gravity blaster gun and 10 metre 10mm hose and some media.
I have a question about the compressor, the motor kicks out at 150psi and kicks in at 130psi, is this normal?

you can set it to whatever you want but a 20psi drop is usually the norm for kicking back in

Thanks, i was thinking of dropping it 10psi but i think ill leave it as it is
