Hi everyone,
My first welding project. Born from the necessity of having a surface to weld on, but no room whatsoever in the small space between the front bumper of my project car and the garage back door.
I've used 40*40*2mm square tube for the main structure and 30*30*2mm + 35*35*2mm square tube to create the collapsable legs for the table.
Both top surfaces are 6mm thick, which makes the thing extremely heavy (I've realised maybe I should've gone for a thinner surface).
I have added gas struts to help lifting the table, and sprung pins to keep the legs in position, as well as some adjustable feet at the bottom of the legs to help levelling it.
I still need to add some "handle bars" at the front to help moving it around. It also needs some brackets and hangers for the cables and the accesories. but I was quite keen on showing it and have some feedback.
P.D: Don't panic when you see the gas bottle hold with some gaffer tape. Again, it's just porivisional. I wanted to see how it looked with everything in place.
