Hello gentlemen/ ladies if any hope there are always interresting and pleasant to have that point of view,,,, I'm fastfingaz and I found your forum while looking for some info on this Migmate welding machine I got at a garage sale two weeks ago, but first I'll say I;m glad to have found you and hope to be here for questions and some input on topics being discussed,I do work in welding and have had some good jobs in the USA and other countries ,,,this little migmate is giving me fits, just cant seem to find any parts in my area!!!

What parts do you need? A welding supplier will probably have electrodes and maybe shrouds as they were probably copies of Tweco or Binzel.

A buddy of mine had one; I think they were sold by Harbor Freight Tools.

Well shenion thanks for answering , I want to start with the tips that way if I get some fire and it works then I'd like to change the wire speed knob because it's broken off, you can still adjust it with a screwwdriver but even when it's set all the way down I think it running fast, it should be at a stop ? or close, So if I can get parts like tips shourd maybe the liner and the knob,, I just want to be sure I'm ordering for the right machine , and I went to Harbor frieght and bought some tips but they were too big ! returned them,,

Try weldingdirect.com . I think the SIP ones are under Binzel tips. I have not used them but several people have mentioned they have more consumables than most. I know they are the only ones left that have torches for the Clarke machines.

Worst case you could always buy a new torch.

The wire feed control is just a standard potentiometer. See if you can find any markings on the control (something like 4K7) You can just replace it with another of the same value.

On some of the SIP machines there is a small trip pot on the circuit board to set the minimum speed.

Welcome to the forum.

Perhaps put a picture up of the machine/torch to determine the model and other's may be able to give you accurate advice on the exact part/thread size etc you require.

If you get totally stuck and can't obtain them over there and do find them on a UK site that does not deliver to the USA, let me know and I am sure I could sort something out to get you sorted.

Steve thank you very much for that offer!! Shenion gave me a website for Welding -direct and they gave me two possible guns I may have the K14 sounds like what I have for it has a threaded nozzle, the other ones don't and small 5mm x 18 tips so I'm in the process of ordering tips and nozzles from them,,,

Shenion thank you for that lead! I think it got what I needed!!!! apparently the gun I have is a 14k with m5 tips 5mmx18,,I'll order the tips and nozzles and take it from there!!! thanks again,,,,,,
