After reading some threads here and elswhere I decided it was about time I built a bench folder.
I wanted it reasonable sized and heavy duty so I can fold more than car patches.
I just happened to have two galved lengths of 3x4 8mm angle lying around which gave me 3 lengths just over 3 foot long and a few other bits from the shed I was off
With my new Portamig ( thanks weldequipe
) I set about nailing it together
Have a peek and let me know what you think.
I need to change the stilsons for a proper handle and get the leading edge chamfered some more, dad has a milling machine
, which I hope will reduce the bend radius. I will also add some bracing to the angles, booming heavy now though
