Need advice please

This is the tag that is on my compressor motor
will this run ok off a 13amp supply without tripping the electrics ? thanks

13 amp is the full load current not the starting amps .that will be up to about 50 amps on start up on a 2,2kw motor. u may get away with it or u wont

haven't a clue mate that's why I posted on here still haven't tried it yet I no it will run to fill the tank first time but not sure if it will start under load when the pressure in the tank drops

The compressor should have an unloader so that restarts are not under load; it would be an unusual and badly designed compressor without one.

I run a 3 hp Clarke of similar spec and it pops a 13amp plug fuse every time it starts. I ran a separate circuit with a 20amp C type Mcb ( B type tripped occasionally) and have had no trouble .

Correct,brain fart on my part,worked on 1 HP=375 watts,it's 746.
