Need help with settings / icon

I could do with some help with my welder I bought last week if poss, I’ve phoned and emailed Static Arc who distribute this welder with no luck, I’ve left messages on their answerphone (twice) but nothing since I bought the welder (last week)

I’ve read the manual quite a few times now but it’s not informative enough for a novice like me, 9 of the 14 A5 pages of the manual are dedicated to H&S and the spec of the welder

I’ve guessed some of the readout from the LED screen but not 100% sure so here are my guesses

1,

Left. Number = amps?

Showing min 30amps


Showing max 140 amps





2,

Right numbers = volts?

Showing min 15volts



Showing max 22volts



3,

Under the left numbers I can also select this icon (I don’t know what it represents)





I’m not sure what it selects, by turning the control knob the number above the symbol shows numbers ranging from -50 to 50





I read what 2T and 4T do, and also this welder has SYN

If poss I would love to know what this symbol is for and what it does

I’ve been doing lots of test strips and welding test box section (small ones) but as I’m not sure on some of the welder settings I can’t be sure if I’m missing something or going wrong

I’ve been googling all week and when not googling I’ve been on YouTube trying to find info of this Mig 140D welder, sadly without any luck and I’ve also been doing searches here on this forum also with no luck, maybe I’m not asking the right question in the search box

Amps I guess on left, wife speed I guess on right ?

Fan symbol means machines fan is on ?

How bad is the manual ?

That symbol is probably inductance/choke
Turn it to -50. Run a bead of Weld.
Turn it to +50. Run another beat alongside the first bead.

One bead should be noticeably flatter and wider than the other.

All warnings of death. No tips.

Some of them tell you what the functions are called and how to get into the menu to change them. Not many tell you what those functions actually do or how they affect the weld.the

Yes I’m using 0.8 flux wire that came with the welder, as for the manual I’m guessing someone who has some welding experience won’t give the manual a second glance

The easiest way to use this welder is by running it in Synergic mode. After selecting "SYN", the adjustment knob will vary both Voltage and Wirespeed together in a fixed, pre-programmed ratio. Turning clockwise from zero you should be able to weld metal from about 0.5mm to 4mm in thickness. ( Some Synergic MIGs have that dial calibrated in millimetres.)
If the factory values are correct, that should give you a good start. If not, you can fine-tune ( "trim" ) the ratio by altering the "-50 / +50" Inductance value, as suggested by hotponyshoes.
