need help with wiring airmaster compressor

hi just got a airmaster 150lt compressor but need some work,i.e wiring think there is a capacitor missing from top of motor ?
has blue and brown wired frommains and also black white red wires from motor,need to know what gous where etc?

I agree, looks like there is something missing. Where the wires are on yours, I have a soft start unit on mine with red and green buttons; this reduces the start up load. I wired the twin and earth cable direct to the connections in the soft start unit. (Mine is a SE15 or 16 but looks the same)

Some don’t have soft start but there is a housing mounted in that position on all of them. Had a look at Clarke manuals online but not much help I’m afraid. Just covers basic wiring to connections and checks. Will have a mooch round and see what I can find.

Go to machine mart and have a look at the compressors and ask if you can look in the manual for a parts list. It looks like there's at least a capacitor missing from the box on top of the motor and probably an overload cut out as well.

yes there is a capacitor missing can get 1 but need to make sure it right sizeso if any1 got a simular compressor have a look for me what size it is and how to wire it

Capacitor details

Hi,

Maybe a bit late, given the date of your last post, but I guess if you've already got your compressor sorted, the info may help someone else...

The missing capacitor is a 450V 60uf "motor run" capacitor - ebay item 260734944573 is suitable replacement (costs about £10 + postage)

I've attached a photo of the wiring box on my compressor, showing the connections to my (blown) capacitor and the reset switch.
