New boy!!!

Evening all.

New to forum so thought I'd say hello. Little bit. About meself I think

I'm a ex mechanic which is where I started welding and did 4years in a bodyshop. I began to do a lot of restoration welding during this time
and became fasinated with it.

I am off the tools now and am currently a Snap-on dealer for my sins!!!
I have a few friends who own classic VWs and am responsible
for there repairs. (but love every second of the welding!!) I'm about to
treat myself to one of our welders got me eye on a couple.


Was very pleased to find a welding forum. And joined instantly
as it looks like a cracking site full of friendly people.

you sound like you have quite a broad knowledge, you should be able to answer the questions on tools that some people have
