New DA sander kit, whip needed though ?

I jut received this DA kit, hope it is half decent but i will soon find out in the next week or two.

As i am only a DIYer not full time sanding is a whip tail line needed.

It has a high flow male fitting that i have fitted but do i need a whip ? then do i need to get a high flow fittings as i have both types of fitting here as i see there is a few different sizes of whips ( ID line size ) and not any high flow fittings.

Just looking on ebay though.

I wouldn't put a whip on that in case you're sanding something important and the connector on the whip scratches it.

Whips tend to be quite short, for this kind of thing I use a longer length of nice soft hose. That way the connector goes nowhere near. It's not essential but where the difference is the fact that a 1/4bsp-hosetail is nice and short so there is very little extending from the tool. If you put a airline fitting then the coupling connected to a stiff airline it can make some tools unwieldy especially if they are lightweight ones.
