Hi
I'm new to the forum and new to MIG Welding. My welding is related to a 1967 Austin Mini Cooper S that I've been vintage racing for five years. In spite of a meticulous restoration in 1985 that nicely covered up some dodgy work it's in pretty good shape.
Right now I'm in the middle of a project to make the front end (all steel as required by the rules) removable. There is some unpleasantness in the footwell area and the curved area that meets the floor. A wide oversill was used in the 1985 work and it isn't making things easier.
Looking forward to picking up lots of tips and tricks to reduce my mistakes.
Regards,
Bob
