Hello everyone.
I am going to introduce myself. I live in the Basque Country, north of Spain.
My hobby consist on the restoration of motorcycles, cars and vans. I have always more than one project going on... but always I am complaining about not having enough time free because my job is non related. I guess this will be common for some of us.
On motorcycles my preference is pointed at 70s machines, Moto Guzzi and Rickman Kawasaki. But also I like Vespas and others.
In cars, I love Renault and Citroen... particularly the R4 and 2 CV
And related to Vans, now I am restoring a VW T3.
My welding experience is really minimal but I would like to be able to do this job on my restorations, because until now this jobs have been done by third parties and always I have to wait more than I would like, is not cheap... so this is my new challenge.
Correct me if I am mistaken but I am thinking on buying a TIG system to cover all my needs. Welding chassis, bodywork, exhaust and even doing small repairs on cylinder heads and other aluminium parts.
I will post in its respective section about this.
I hope we will meet each other, sharing knowledge and projects. I would like to be connected every day but that is not going to be possible.. anyway, who knows?
