Hello, my names ryan zander, im 19, been welding for a couple years but im no pro.my experience comes from fabricating baja buggies, mud trucks, drag chassis work @ fast forward, little bit of structural and sae mini baja buggies. Im now employed by Maac machinery, we build the worlds largest and highest in demand custom to order thermal forming machines. I have lots of experience fabricating but for the most part, ive had senior welders do the welds where they are clearly visible, not that im not able but because of confidence. Im hoping to learn from joining this forum and the community to advance myself further, for the most part i weld 1/8" to half inch, electro weld, hot roll, and cold roll. welder issued to me at my job is a digi miller 235 but we have cp230's and hotter welders that i get my hands on too. ill attach a bead i had on my phone. its a horizontal about 20" long with heat around 20 and feed around 400. materials were 1/8" thick 2x2 tubing and 1/4" 1 1/2" angle. (i know there wasnt penetration, it was just practice to get uniformity. Im best at vertical downs but not as strong in my horizontals, as i said, im no pro and looking for improvement. constructive criticism welcome!
