I have a brand new Defender bulkhead in factory black cathodic primer. I've had it sitting around a few years now, there are some scratches to the primer and starting to surface rust. What is the best procedure to paint this?
Do I have to key the black primer? then grey primer, then colour coat?
Red oxide the bare metal where primer has been scratched?
I'm after maximum protection especially as only 10% of the bulkhead is visible when fitted.
Thanks
