Hi All,

My names Dave and i'm from Somerset. I was a welder/fabricator on medium to heavy structual steel for ten years until I had to give it up due to 'white finger'. Held a few codings in mig and one in arc all on plate never got enough practice or lacked the skill to weld pipe. Just got back in to hobby/diy welding and thought i'd check out the site. Hopefully I can add a bit as well as learning a thing or two.

Thanks all, been having a look around as you do and there is a lot of skilled people on here with some interesting projects on the go looks like it will be an interesting forum.

Hitch - Looked through your pictures and you have made some nice stuff especially like the musical gates, flowers and pistons really good, original ideas.

Debs - Building your own planes (and others), respect due.
