hi weld fans please excuse the awful typing, aint got used to caps yet lol, (i'm a welder after all)
got experience with mig and mma welding of everything from heavy plant to car bodies so might just be able to help with some of your problems,
well your welding problems anyway.
used every good machine over the years from miller to esab to ine and just about to embark on my own mobile site welding and repair business (wish me luck haha)
fed up with rules and regulations
make my own now.
my beautiful young wife is expecting our first child so i think now is as good a time as any eh.

Welcome to the forum, great to have someone of your experience join in. The mobile welding plan sounds excellent - so much nicer working for yourself than for others. First year or two after starting own business were tough (not in welding), but now I'm turning away work, should imagine you'll do great once the word gets around.

wellcome to the the forum iv been self employed now for, well too long. Its worth the effort in the long term. Avoided cars and stuck with the big stuff myself and it seams to have paid off. Anyway best of luck with the new bussiness.

firstly thanks for the warm welcome weld-fans.
i don't think i have ever had a blob of weld fall in my ear hole and fizz about from lying underneath my beloved golf gti, but various corsa's and 405's have been cursed as i tried to get out in a hurry lol.
hopefully my days of lying under cars only fit for the crusher are over now
