Hi everyone, just found this forum when looking at painting my mk1 mini 1962 restoration.
It was a very good shell so only needed minor repairs unlike some I have seen.
Have a couple of pics but it has moved on a bit since these were took.

Most of the floor apart from inner, outer sills and parts of the boot floor are original which isn't bad for a 50 year old car.

Was the subframe mounting plate still in place and the boot rear corners ? That is good for an old Mini. I like old Minis keep up the good work.

Had to replace small part of heel board but not through rot, the bolts stripped removing subframe, and had to have a small repair in rear corners of boot but not a lot, also the rear panel and boot hinge panel were ok, amazing really but it was garaged all its life and only one previous owner. Most problems have been from previous bad repairs and patches. It did need extensive patching on front inner wings behind a panels, but again was caused by poor fitment of a panels before.
