Hi,
had posted my intro in wrong section so here it is again.
Joined up as always come across this forum when googling for info.
New to this welding business, have a little Sealey Supermig 150 which seems decent enough...wire feed is smooth and seems great at thin stuff and has welded up to 5mm with full penetration of the metal so far so that's all I need from it.
tried my Dads Arc...to be fair, very handy to use, penetrates without hesitation but chipping the slag off is what I find a pain so trying to get to grips with the mig.
But having some serious problems trying to weld my land rover chassis...thought it would be easy but I'm having a real headache with it. Posted for help in the learning to weld section.
