Afternoon,
New member hear looking for advice please on purchasing my first MIG Welder

I've narrowed it down to the Clarke MIG welder 151TE Turbo, but can anyone advise please if this would be a suitable all round welder for small home projects & possible car welding.

Hi Kev, welcome aboard, the Clarke 151's an excellent hobby welder, got one myself.

Another vote for that model, look out for the VAT free offer from machine mart and save a fair bit of money, the members often give them away on the forum.

What made you pick that particular model, where are you going to get it and what is our budget? it will do what you want.

I think it comes kitted out for hobby gas canisters, that will dissapear faster than a fart in a caulinder. Have you considered getting full size bottles and reg?.

It all boils down to what your prepared to spend
