Hi everyone, just joined up and looking forward to chatting and Comparing notes with you guys.
Impressed with the work on the photos, welds look smooth and full of penetration.
In August, I will become self employed after 20 years in the aircraft engineering industry, yes I done a bit of MIG welding in steel and aluminium, but nothing to write home about, I would like to find out more about thin sheet welding EG car body, would be fun to learn.
I quite fancy a SIP TOP MIG going down to 25 amps for thin sheet metal.
Anyway – that’s was a long “Hi”… would be nice to meet you all.
