I am Dave. Been a lurkin for a while and found this to be a most civiliased and gentlemanly (no officence to wimin) forum and I think I fit right in.
Love weldin and have done a few projects which i will share with you, but just want to introduce myself first
Apart from the done projects still have lots to do, mainly an auto which needs restoration, a bicycle which needs to be turned into a 'step' and, if you have an open mind, a few things which I am tryin to make in wood...
Love the forum, great that we can show genuine interest in a thread about a new gate!. I love to make everything I can myself. For example, I lost a ball bearing for a door lock, but you cannot buy a ball bearing in Holland, no-where, so instead I made my own from a small piece of rod - works a treat.
