New reg/filter thingy

I bought one of the compressors from aldi, gonna use for spraying small trailers and motorbike trailers and maybe the air tools for the wheels etc.

After reading the many posts here am i right in thinking i would be better off removing the bung on the front and fitting the air line from here to a filter regulator then to my sprayer/tools. this way i would be bypassing the connectors and regulator fitted to the compressor as some have mentioned they are a bit restrictive.

Also i have a blue calor gas bottle, i used in the caravan, would i have any benafit in connecting this upto this compressor too, also has mentioned in this forum.

You'd be better using a regulator with 1/2 in BSP ports and installing it as near to where you use the air as practible.

Installing an extra tank will give you longer periods of work between the compressor switching on, but it will also increase the amount of time the compressor takes to fill the tanks. Also you stand a chance of overheating the compressor if it doesn't have a large duty cycle, check the manual.

I'd see how you get on before adding another tank.
