Hi people.
I first learned to arc weld at the age of 15. Upside down welding repairs to the underside of an old landrover taught me to make sure no holes existed in the crutch of working trousers and I was happy with arc welding pretty much anything from that time onwards.
Some time at collage gave me a small qualification with gas, arc, mig and tig welding.
I have since many years ago used a very old large mig welding set 180 rated power which has performed flawlessly once an industrial torch and harness was fitted.
I carry out major vehicle building and repairs to chassis and roll cages for the off road and 4x4 crowd.
What I am about to do is purchase a semi decent Tig welding set mainly for stainless and aluminium welding.
Hence the reason I am here.
Next stop the "what welder section?"
Andy
