New to welding got a new welder and gas now need a trolley

My start of trolley

Now know how hard it is to get every thing straight and level when welding

And got only 1/3 through and now already want to change a few things

Welder near hand hight ? Gives problems with balance as top Heavy

Welder down lower with tray on top ?

Flip down tray with bracket to hold gas as want it removable to store out side

Both my trolleys have been hand height for the machine with no problems, ideally the design should be so the base footprint area is greater than the area holding the machine.

Stick a paving slab on the bottom, itll not fall over then..
Joking aside with a full size gas bottle, they can be a bit unstable as i found out with one i was given as a present from a well know tool store.

what do people use for holding the torch when not in use as if you just put it on the counter it is heavy and slids off

I have a hook on my trolley and a hook on the side of the bench where I do most of my welding, although I intend to replace the bench hook with a short length of tube that the torch fits into, that would keep it better angled for easier picking up each time.
