New toy on the way !

Well I have finally given in to welders acquisition disease again, hopefully for the last time and so I have a nice Lorch T220 with 8m 2600UD iTorch on the way.

Should arrive mid next week, so need to sort the garage out this weekend to get all the welding gear organised and in one place...

Starting to design a welding bench/trolley for all the gear to sit on at the moment...

Toys, toys, toys....!!

Nah the missus only has small toys like a laptop or stuff for making home made cards.

But the lorch is a damn good machine, but been concentrating on doing diy jobs recently so not had much time to play with my toys...!

hi im considering getting a t220 lorch let me no how you get on with it .
i purchased the mpro 252 mig and am very happy with it

Hey rob I have used the T220 a number of times for practice etc and its a really smooth machine, obviously I have no other Tig machines to compare it to but its a good machine backed up by top notch support from Matt @ Lorch.

hi premier all ive heard is good things about lorch machines so i will prob get a demo on one soon .ive got a few welders 160amp acdc tig /a couple migs /genset for my site stuff .i seem to be doing more and more ally so need more amps and dont want 3phase

Well for alu you will prob want to invest in a pedal, even though i am actually building a home made one for my lorch as i think £400 is a tad steep !

Hi, how are you getting on with your T220? Had a first dabble with my own the other day (TIG welding is a completely new disease for me), and i loved how quiet the machine runs and performs! Its just me that needs to improve now!

PLenty of practice on Ali but need to finish the pedal to get better control, but brilliant machine for adjustability. Trying to get the hang of brazing at the mo.
