Just treated myself to one of these:

It's designed to take filtered compressed air at 3 bar, but I've converted it to take the low pressure feed from my Metro heater blower.
Cost about £200 but it's light years ahead of the fabric hoods you can get. It has tear-off visor strips which saves time and it's very comfortable.
