Hi All

New to site and new to welding, I did my apprenticeship in the civi side of the REME which included alot of welding of different kinds but never MIG or TIG, I will be about to start doing some blacksmith work and welding. I am looking at a Cebora boxer on ebay have put a bid in and at the moment winning, if not I will be looking again. I hope to be asking your advice in the near future hope I don't blow myself up or burn my nice new garage down.

Thanks for saying Hi, lost the ebay welder never mind if all else fails I will ghet a Clarke from Machine Mart, what do you think of the Clarke range of Mig welders?

No probs! Dunno 'bout the Clarkes Pappy, but i'm sure someone on here knows!
I'm more of an Oerlikon gal myself....

BTW did you get your nickname from the fast and the furious movies?? awesome!!

I have a clarke 160EN, used it for a year pretty well daily (monday to friday) excellent for the cost... wait till a vat free weekend or see the shop at the top of here (Steves place, n he's a good bloke)

Missed welder

Well missed that one but have just bought a Cobel MIG-200, need to get some gas and wire will pop into machine Mart on weekend and get a small bottle of gas and a small reel of wire, need to look in the manual first.

Got my name from my apprentice days in the REME its thye first letter of my first, middle and last names, could not think of a name to use.

Well I may get my garage (6m x 5m) ready for action by xmas bthen the welder will get used to make bences etc.. can't wait.
