While freezing out in the garage last nite, I had the brilliant idea to weld up all the molding holes on the VW. just how do I go about this? Any Help is welcome. Thanks

If you can get access to the rear of the panel, use a piece of copper as a backer then fill the hole starting from the edge working your way in to the middle. If you can't get access to the rear of the panel then use the lowest power setting and just dab spots of weld round the edge or the hole until you fill it then carefully grind it flat.

im guessing he means the holes where the mouldings used to fit into.

it use the technique of little dabs of weld to fill the holes in slowly.
