Newbie after feedback on my welds..

Heyy all im scott from south wales.. just started a welding and fabrication course a few weeks ago and thought i would show you how its going.. all ive got for now is a couple of pics of a open corner joint and butt joint done with gas welding... the plate was 2mm and 1.6 filler wire.

Up to you lots standards?? Cheers!

They look very good, scott. You should find tig welding pretty easy if you can gas weld like that.

Keep us posted with more pics of how you're getting on.

If you like gas you'll love tig..why is there ground splatter on second pic? Good luck with the course Gav
