Mig welders are few and far between over here as most locals seem to be expert in Arc welding something to do with history I think, where the idea is dont throw it away weld it!!!.
I bought a Clarke 150 on ebay and had it couriered over ( cost me more to ship it than the price the the mig ) works OK though and time to start remembering and practicing. The site is very informative and seems very friendly too, so I look forward to posting my various experiencies and disasters
Do you supply shrouds and tips for Clarke torches and would you post to

My Land Rover is a IIA 1965 which came from Austria ( LHD ) it is all original and in reasonable nick but the out riggers for the petrol tank need replacing hence the welder!!! Series Land Rovers are expensive over here so I get most of my parts mail order from Paddocks or e bay. my next planned project ( if I ever finish this one ) is to get an RHD from the UK and convert it to LHD but we will see. One of the best things about Latvia is the countryside where there are many green lanes and tracks and no cars, so you can travel all over the place hassle free.

Hi guys, yet another new poster here with an on going fight to reseerct one of solihulls finest.Chassis done (yet again more than i thought at the time).I would love to know how your getting on with yours as im always looking for tips and advice.I bought a sip 150 mig welder and it has workd well apart when i changed from co2 to pure argon. regards steve scotland.

Hope it all goes well for you, I have managed to weld new tank outriggers on my 2A. Hardest part was getting the old ones off. I spent a lot of time cleaning up the main chassis rail down to bare metal which made the welding a lot easier and cleaner. Used a Clarke 150
