Hi all, just joined and wanted to say hello, only weld occasionally but have welded a bit in the past mostly hobby. Bought a Deca 160 welder 26 years ago in Italy nd still have it, it's rusty battered and for a stick welder very heavy not like today's products. Hope to move on to mig (I have used before). Hope for advice and help....Thanks for reading

I bet your Deca will still be going in another 26 years, if they are anything like the older machine I had they are virtually bomb proof.

It's never let me down .
I believe it's 3phase too but only used it on 230~240. The power switch broke about 10years ago so it's rigged up direct to plug. Still got the original welding mask that came with it lol.

Thinking of buying a mig for welding roll cages etc. Cds steel 2" diameter mane 2.3mm any suggestions?

there are a few decent migs about its all down to what you want to pay, the Clarke migs have a good name on here and the portamig but big price difference
