Newbie here with a compressor question

Hi guys.
I'm not a welder or engineer but I wonder if someone would be kind enough to advise me what Pressure Switch I need for the home Wolf Sioux 24ltr compressor please. It's a single port jobbie but a bit of Googling throws up loads and hugely varying prices. In this attached picture what is the difference and the price variation for?

Any advice very welcome in layman terms. Thank you. This is from airia.co.uk

The only thing I think you need to look at is the pressure it will do most of the cheapy ones should do but wait till someone confirms this

Have you looked for a local air tools place? I found one in the back of an industrial estate when renovating my compressor, and was able to take my old pressure switch, along with the non-return valve and get a new pastille and pressure switch. Having the bits there and a knowledgeable person behind the counter means being sure of compatibility, and not getting home and finding you're missing a vital adaptor, or the threads are wrong. Ask me how I know...

In general it's a good idea not getting unknown Chinesium on eBay, as it can cause very frustrating problems that in the end turn out to be poor manufacturing.

The two you've shown are generic non-illustrative pictures (yes, really helpful for online shopping). They won't look the same in the flesh, I'm sure. The more expensive one is a Bambi service part, so is probably made in Europe and is assured by Bambi, who make compressors that are not in the cheap range.

If you want to do mail order, you need to check the descriptions and ensure the threads are right for your compressor. I expect it's a male 1/4"BSP on the compressor, so the £22.50 one would likely suit, but you need to measure.

Yes, thank you Dragnet. I understand completely about the Chinese rubbish. Some on Amazon for example have very poor reviews as one would expect. There is a compressor service company in my town so I'll try there first.

Yes, that was my first thought about parts, but searching Wolf compressor parts (or pressure switch) only throws up third party stuff.

The only website I can find for Wolf Air Compressors is an Australian dive shop. Are they just a re-badging affair perhaps without an attached company? I've seen the name on here a lot but never seen one in the flesh.
