Hi all,
First off, brilliant forum you have here, I spent ages reading it before doing some welding to my new project (Vitara off roader).
I fabricated and welded in a new rear wheel arch/rear quarter panel and painted it with paint supplied from my brother (he is training in a bodyshop).
Paint all sprayed on fine, but the laquer is still soft afer 8 days, I have got it hot using a 2k fan heater, but its just not goping off? You can leave a finger print in it
All the materials were supposed top quality, (Glasurit expensive stuff) Has anyone any ideas? The laquer was mixed 2-1 with accelerator. I am thinking maybe that was not enough?
Many thanks all
Trev
