How's it going fellow Mig-mates. Thought I would introduce myself before asking the multiple questions I have swirling in my head. My name is Charlie, live in Aberdeen area, tarting up an old Mini with a SIP150. Have been welding for years through work etc - gas, mig, arc and Tig. Tried them all at some point. First time welding a rusty Mini though. Don't know if it's because it's thin material or because it's a cheap welder, but it's not much fun lol. Reason for joining forum was my interest in doing some of the SIP improvement mods. Number 1 being a shut off valve for the gas. Crazy how much gas gets wasted. Look forward to some information sharing son. Charlie.
