Hey guys,
Thought i'd create an account and start posting since I has used some of the help tutorials, I bought a R-tech 180 after reading reviews online, it seemed the best option to go for.
I'm 21 and just finished my apprenticeship, so that's me got my papers as a mech tech offshore and i've been kept on by my company, so over the moon about that!
The main reason for me buying the welder, was when i was 16 I got someone to weld a hillman imp i had to use as my first car, and it ended up coming back worse and less-roadworthy condition that it was when i dropped it off, so after that, I decided i would learn to weld, finally a few years later, my suzuki SJ410 offroader (road legal) needed welded, so bought a welder, and made a start, been doing bits and pieces the last few months in between apprenticeship paperwork and reports, but i'm off for a good few weeks just now, so going to get stuck into it and hopefully finished before i go back!
The SJ in question is below, but i'll leave any more photos for a progress thread, and hopefully i can get some points based on welds i've done, either that it's all ok, or i'll need to re-do it And hopefully learn some things from the more experienced welders on the forum
Cheers!
