Hello, wondering if anyone could lead me in the right direction for welding courses, i have missed the deadline for the colleges as they started last month, i do not want qualifications, i just want to weld with confidence, i have done a little bit of welding, just waiting for a new welder Wolf Combination MIG 140 Gas/No Gas Mig Welder
i have a car project that needs welding and i would like to be able to do it myself, i am looking for any courses (or any one) within the north east region where i could take classes,
any help would be most appreciated

No help with the learning sorry but I bought a Wolf welder , rebranded from Aldi and the wire feed was awful on it, for the price and car work I think the Clarke beat them hands down.
Just thought I would mention it in case you have an option to change and others agreed, if not then good luck and I hope mine was the odd one out.

Buy some plates of different thickness and steel types from your local fabrication/welding shop and practise with them using this forums FAQ advice. Once you have tried and tested a few hours you will get the hang of it, welding is not as hard as it looks as long as you have the right amount wire feed/power/time for the steel you are welding.
