No, not ours but me and a couple of lads were in digs close to Baltic Quays for 2 years on a job up there - slumped up against them on the odd occasion during mid week drinks - Egypt Cottage/Pitcher & Piano etc etc.

We worked on the development that is on the right of T'egypt (If you had your back to the Tyne) - just before you drop down the hill - Lime Square - cream brickwork/grey balconies. Nasty job.

Always good to here other points of view from outside the area Paul. I am not bothered where this ends up. Lime Square is mostly hidden, so no-one will notice.

I have resisted this one, but a lot of people seem to like it.

I have always thought it should have its' 'arms' angled down a little to be ore welcoming, maternal. ?What do I know?

The angel is as big underground as it is above ground... that's what I've been told. The mind boggle at the size of that things.

Good geordie monument,of course it was built on teesside at hartlepool, & the tyne bridge also made in teesside.!!
