Non stick tiger seal?

I am trying to cast some letters using Tiger seal and it keeps sticking to the metal when I try to remove it. Is there a product that prevents tiger seal sticking? I've tried car polish and WD40 but no luck

how about dental silicone or something. I’m sure there’s something on eBay that’d do it

You can get mold release spray in an aerosol.
Or if you are anywear near Frome I can sort you out with a handful of dental impression material that would do the job as it's not sticky

I think you might struggle, it is an adhesive designed to bond to most surfaces - so it is doing pretty much what it is designed for.
Depending on the application perhaps you could try something like a silicone rubber designed for moulds?

Cast a female mold off the front in something like plaster that will dissolve/fall apart when wet and form the tiger seal letters in that.

wrong stuff for the job , plenty of mold making stuff available that would work as you want it to

Yes, that sounds like the best plan.

Taking 8OB's advice, I did what was suggested. Using plaster board adhesive took a copy of the original Ford script and tidied up the letters when dried , then a few coats of aerosol and applied Vaseline before filling with P38. "Hey presto" , I now have duplicate letters ready to apply with adhesive and paint over.
