Hello everyone.
Been doing a few searches on google lately as I've been looking at second hand welders on eBay and I keep ending up here. After having a bit of a read I thought I'd sign up as there seems to be alot of usefull information and I think I'll need it over the coming months.
Anyway, in the end I thought sod it and bought a new Clarke 160te off weldequip, I only ordered it yesterday and it arrived this morning, very pleased and a big thanks for a fast service. Just need to get a gas bottle and a few other bits now then I'm away.
I've done a fair bit of stainless mig welding but I'm by no means a professional. I used to work at a place making powerflow exhausts and I've done bits and bobs of other welding but that's it.
I want to start fixing up Japanese rot boxes to sell on and hopefully make a few quid out if my garage. It's only a prefab concrete double garage but I'm hoping to lift the roof up soon and dig an inspection pit to make it a bit more suitable.
I'll stop rambling now I've introduced myself, hope to speak to some of you soon and get a couple if threads up in the projects section.
Cheers, dale.
