Hi all. New to the forum and new to welding. To get me going ill be attempting to make a vice stand out of a car wheel some tube and a plate. I have the wheel and tube but still need the plate. As my mig gun is broke ( crappy cosmo welder) ill be using my Clarke easi arc. The tube and wheel are all approx 3mm steel I have 2mm 6013 rods will these be ok or should I get some 2.5 maybe even 3mm. Pics to follow and any recommendation will be gratefully rereceived.
