I like to see how new machines are made , there’s a new 14 tonne dumper trailer nearby made by a well known manufacturer from across the water
So I decided to have a look this is what I saw at front corners

Dumpsters & beds are some of the most cut throat business's I have seen, cheap labor, cheap materials, etc.

Ivor does not need to prove anything, this was delivered with a CE mark if it is good. Upon visual inspection this is rejection and the welds should have been repaired before the vehicle was painted.

Given the inverted vee shaped ridges it looks more like vertical up to me.
Vertical down looks much smoother.

Whilst we’re on the subject, this is a tow trust towbar I fitted last week,as it’s for a post ‘97 car ,I’m not allowed to fabricate my own,yet I’m coded for class 2 structural ,I wouldn’t accept this from myself or my workman on a mechanical or load application component. Look at the undercut and lack of bead in the fillet,relying on the side beads only,waiting for a crack to propagate.
