Oetiker Clamps

Anyone have a good source on oetiker 167 clamps? The single ear type. I want to buy 50 of a few sizes so 200+ clamps

For anyone else who didn't know what an Oetiker Clamp is - see below - don't be impressed..... I had to Google what they were.
Western Fasteners has them - along with most other fasteners you could possible want - I use them a lot!!!

I need 11.3mm clamps and these need to be small and low profile. It’s for the water hoses on our welding equipment. Standard Jubilee clips leak all the time. I’ve had to dive into my own stash today to fix another leak.
Always had very good results with the genuine single ear o clips.

Try stainless cable ties with the proper tool to tension them

You can't always use jubilee clips in place of the Oetiker Clips.
I had to use Oetiker Clips on my small car CV gaiters.
Anything with a bigger profile would have fouled the joint.
I used a cheap pair of carpenter nail Pincers to tighten the clips

Might not be much help but is heavy stainless lock wire and a clamptite tool any use? Easy to do, very low profile and easy and cheap to replace when needed. You can stack more than one wrap if need be, say you were compressing hide against a barbed tube, you could put two or three of these side by side

The nicest clamps are the hose ferrules, they are not expensive if buying in bulk nor is the tool for scrunging them down.

Oetiker clips are OEM equipment for a reason.
They will last years if installed properly. I also have a band-it tool for one-off bigger pipes.

The hoses in question are very supple and any other sort of fastener that is not a one piece, stepless design with safety edges will cause the pipe to breakdown prematurely. Especially with 40 degree water running through it.

Oetiker clamps are tried and tested.

An option for sure. I have no experience of these.

If you’re interested in trying clamptite I can send you the tool and some wire. See if it’s any use before you spend the money buying one. If you’re set on these clamps for good reason no worries.

I now use stainless cable ties on my cv gaiters

I've had the same problem with small size jubilee clips leaking on my cooler. I cured it by a wrap of very thin steel sheet around the pipe under the jubilee clips.
It evens out the clamping pressure.

Me too, given up on Jubilee clips on pipes of all sizes, much prefer these

No room for supra clamps, the hoses are like 10mm in diameter.

If Some one is too skint to buy a ferrule crimping tool,just split an correct size nut and have at it. If You want it crimped twice just hack saw a clearance groove in the middle of the split nut half.
