Often having to press reset on motor

Hi everyone I have a Clarke SE16C150 compressor that often will not start unless I press the reset button on the motor and sometimes does it while in use can anyone give me some idea of what the cause of this is ? Other times it works fine without a problem many thanks Chris

When does it trip? Fire it up, let it charge then start drawing off air. If it trips out at the point you would expect the compressor to cut back in then it's the bleed off valve not working.

Check all the wiring connections for being tight, from the consumer unit down to the motor. A loose one somewhere could give you a fault like this.
