So I purchased an Esab inverter 180 yesterday, and today I see there is a Parweld Inverter which is obviously the exact same thing in a different coloured casing and logo/name.

Is on offer for £190 with max 160A, my Esab is exactly same casing but 180A.
So I've paid basically £100 more for 20A I wasn't bothered about...

Life is good. :-/

Send the esab back. buy the parweld. spend the difference on beer or more tools. ive got the parweld xti 160 and its fantastic. had it about a year now and its never missed a beat.

That looks OK when you think it included a pack of rods, mask and gloves. I can't get a full price including VAT and shipping though.

I guess returning the Esab isn't an option seeing as you are now welding with it!
It does boast a slightly better duty cycle than the Parweld 160.

You'll probably never notice the difference in the real world though!

That's true, on both counts.
At least with it being yellow, when some dirty thief is running off with it I'll be able to see him to aim my gun
