I would probably use a light oil like 3in1 or air line oil.
Hello.
I need to oil a leather washer in a old air gun. Has anyone got any recommendations. I dont want to use neatsfoot oil or any oils made from animals.
Thanks.
Been given a vintage air gun dont think its been used in 20 years so want to soften and preserve the leather washer and lubricate I suppose. It works perfectly surprisingly, so dont want to replace the washer. As for animal products I am a vegetarian so dont want to use products made from dead animals.
Thanks for the input everyone.
