Oil gun connector

[Spark plug]

By oil gun has a standard grease nipple type connector on it, which is fine for the best part but the lathe has a number of recessed nipples, ware it won’t fit:

can anyone point me in the direction of something that will solve the issue?. I seem to remember oil guns having a connector with a tapered brass end rather than the 4 jaw grease type?

binned all those useless oilers......all mine are now drippers......
got 2 on the top slide where there is little hight..dug out the original crxp ones and cover the holes with super strong magnets......
works for me.....
by the way only I use 10-40 synthetic engine oil........

I made one for the recessed nipples on my Harrison from a piece of nylon. IIRC was a spare wheel security bolt from a Peugeot.

I just turned the end of the connector down.

the tip is like the end of a biro with a small holed drilled in .its tapered on the outside
